Unlock the Library Annex: Which Chest Holds the Ultimate Hogwarts Legacy Reward? is a specific golden chest inside the annex study. This chest often holds top gear, and solving the nearby puzzle opens it.

Follow the floating map marker to the desk corner. Interact with the spinning bookcase to reveal a narrow crawlspace and the locked reward chest. Studies indicate environmental exploration boosts rare drop rates in this zone.

Direct route players skip side desks to race the spinning shelf. They grab the gear fast, then exit before patrols reset the location.

Hidden alcoves near the blackboard hold stronger loot spawns. Mastering these spots gives repeat access to high level crafting mats.

Why does the study table puzzle reset after leaving the room? Moving too far can lock the mechanism until you reload.

Can first time visitors break the golden chest open? Interact with the objects on the desk to lower the barrier before touching the chest.
